It Takes Two,Object Speed Dating, took place during my Artist Conversation at Elsewhere Artists Collaborative in June 2009. Visitors found an object in the space that reminded them of a story and then sign up for a dating session. They told their story over and over and listened to the others in hopes of finding the object to pair their item with. At the end of each session, participants wrote down the final version of their story, made suggestions of matches and left it to fate. Many forgotten objects found other quality objects in a fun-filled evening of fast-paced romance!
