Our shares go on sale THIS TUESDAY MORNING!!! 10 am!!! They're gonna go quick, so you better bookmark this page NOW!!

Check out our interview with Larkin Page-Jacobs on WESA Pittsburgh's NPR news station.

Do the math.

920 square feet of my objectified subjection will go up on April 19th in Pittsburgh's Northside. I'm thrilled to be working with the Children's Museum and Nick Chambers of the Warhol Museum to create the newest piece for the UNDERPASS Gallery, a site under the railroad separating the Northshore from the Northside.

This giant equation, which follows the work I've done here, will add up to one thing when you walk towards the shore and something else as you walk in the other direction. Artist and muralist, Alison Zapata is integral in the creation of this monster. On the right you can see her hard at work with my amazing assistant Kristen Staab.

The site is viewable by car but much easier to experience on foot. So next time you're tailgating or stopping in at the Warhol, take some time to walk up Federal Street.

Good vibrations.

Yona Harvey tries to understand the vibrations of the morse code bed.

Wish you were here closes this Sunday at Chatham University's Gallery. Find me at the gallery Sunday morning if you want a little extra help decoding the morse code bed. It's no easy feat and you will need at least 3 quarters to get close.

The bed will move to Slippery Rock University in time for the opening of a new version of Romancing the Tone on Monday March 11th from 5-7pm. Check here for more information on the gallery and the event.

Wish you were here

I'm finishing up new work to show at Chatham University's Gallery at Woodland Hall. The opening is next Thursday, February the 7th from 5-8pm. I don't want to spoil the surprise, but be sure to bring at least 25¢ and I always prefer that you dress monochromatically.

I warned you...

Lenka Clayton's "Condolence" is featured in Romancing the Tone. This week is your last chance to see Romancing the Tone  at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts.

Stop by and see it before January 20th, so that you can be super informed about what's new in the next iteration at Slippery Rock University... That's right! SRU's Martha Gault Gallery will host a new version of the show March 4 - 15, 2013. Most of the work will remain in the show, with a few additional surprises.

I don't want to give away too much, but if you love Derya Hanife Altan, then you'll love what's to come....

Lizzy De Vita performs at SIX x ATE: Time

Also coming up is the closing for SIX x ATE: Sound, Time, Space at 937 Liberty Ave. This show features most of the artists who participated in my dinner/lecture series of the same name. For the January 25th Gallery Crawl you can catch the end of the show with some great performances by David Bernabo and Lizzy De Vita. Sara McCool will also be in the space asking gallery goers to join her in the making of an episode of Front Street.

One last thing, is that if you're in Los Angeles you can still see The Future Present window installation by myself and Derya Hanife Altan. The show at Passerby Gallery has been extended, so get over there one of these sunny winter mornings and take a picture for me.
