My favorite body of work, Intimate Apparel, was created after months of little sunlight and no social contact in Iceland. Each piece is made to have the human body physically interact with it. Some are for one or two bodies; others for seven or eight. The materials range from polyester and cotton to wool and fur. They are hot and claustrophobic, intimate and arousing. The participants become performers as they navigate the piece, their relationships shape the experience.
